Nestled in the foothills of the Wind River Range, 9 miles south of Lander and adjacent to the Little Popo Agie River, Sleeping Bear Ranch & RV Resort has on location a turn of the century ranch with acres and acres to play. Once part of the Colonel Baldwin homestead, many of the old ranch buildings are still being used today. 

Sleeping Bear Ranch & RV Resort features a reconstructed ghost town. Born in the oil boom that hit the west in the 1880’s, the little town of Dallas, Wyoming, had the first oil strike west of the Mississippi River. Many historic buildings of the once Dallas, Wyoming Territory, are being preserved at the resort.
